DIY 21st Birthday Party

This weekend we threw a party (despite the weather) celebrating a friends 21st birthday. The theme of the party was Cheers to 21 Years which included anything glitter and gold!

The gold dots, white banner with gold polka dots, gold hashtag and the banner with gold and white tassels were all from Target in the party decoration section.

The happy birthday banner, gold table cloth, confetti, champagne balloon, and the rest of the balloons were all from Party City.

It took a while to set up especially the dots but the final product was well worth it, everyone loved the decorations.

Decorating can be easy especially with all the great supplies they sell and this theme can be used for many occasions like new years or even celebrating birthdays of any age!

These are some photo’s from the party with my friends and I. The decorations were a great success and we really enjoyed dressing up for the occasion!

    1. Thank you so much! It was really easy, I bought gold dots at target then taped those to the wall with tape, painters tape works great cause it doesn’t mess up the walls. Also bought a champagne balloon and gold balloons and just also taped those to the wall. Then the tassel streamer that’s hanging on the top is also from target and I put that up with push pins. I hope this helped 🙂

  1. The bubble balloons are ADORABLE! What a fantastic idea! I’m an event planner in Pittsburgh, PA. Is it ok if I share the picture of the door decor on my social media pages? It’s too perfect to just keep on my Pinterest board! – Stephanie

  2. Love love love! Super original and cute. What color are the balloons not sure if it’s just me or if they look pink? Dying to recreate this for my 21st birthday party

  4. The champagne bottle and balloon bubbles are so clever! Loved all the gold dots too. Wish I had seen this a couple of weeks ago…would have been great for my daughter’s 25th birthday! Guess I’ll just have to save the idea for New Years. Awesome job!
